NEW BRIGHTON GLASS CO. UNNAMED No. 1 by New Brighton Glass Company (New Brighton-PA, Company Operated: 1886-1891), Unknown Date of Introduction
NOTE: Brad Gougeon - This is a hybrid New Brighton pitcher. It has elements of New Brighton No. 1 but there are differences.
1. The top flutes are like No. 1
2. The only No. 1 pitcher shown in the Database has 19 rows of hobs. This has 18 rows.
3. I have two New Brighton aka Printed Hobnail pitchers - one has 19 rows and one has 18.
4. The handle does not match ones we have for either No. 1 or aka Printed Hobnail.
5. This pitcher and both the ones I have for aka Printed Hobnail have the hexagon of hobnails in the base.
6. This pitcher has a marie around the base and no ground base ring and the ones shown in the Database have no marie and have a ground ring around the base.
