NOTE: Hawk Jackson 2023 - Made by B&S (page 59 1874), Mt Washington, Samuel Bowie and Gillinder. The indentations made at Boston and Sandwich are trapezoid shape. Could be painted by Smith Brothers or shops including Edward Swann or Charles Spurr, all these decorating companies did these well past the closing of B&S. There are so many of these around that the only way to give a definitive attribution is to have irrefutable documentation. Rectangular cleats on bottom is "other" makers. Trapezoid is either Boston Sandwich or Mt Wash. Flat base is definitely B&S.
