NEW ENGLAND (OMN) stem/negc by New England Glass Company (Cambridge-MA, Company Operated: 1818-1887), c1860s Introduced
• AKA: Square Flute (Millard 1, pl 8; Metz 1 p 40)
NOTE: It appears that New England Glass Company used the name "New England" for two different patterns. This cut is from a c1868 catalogue but the date of introduction of this simple yet elegant stemware line likely dates many years earlier. The number under each item does not appear to be a pattern number and was used as a cross reference to a separate document listing the pattern name and form.
