NOTE: Gary Schneider 2020 -... for purposes of comparison this is the Fostoria star paperweight. It is important to note that Fostoria put the beads around the crown as well on all edges under the star. Also, the star in the points were often decorated in blue, gold, or red paint and plain. 2023: Fostoria Glass is the only one with beads all around the star points. Introduced c 1903
