CROSSED PEACOCK EYE (AKA) by Unknown Maker/Unknown Location (Company Operated: Unknown), c1850s

• AKA: Peacock Eye
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2024: The second bowl is called (aka) Crossed Peacock Eye by Barlow & Kaiser. They speculate that it was made in Sandwich, MA. Lowell Innes shows an oval bowl with a similar design but with a diamond pattern in the base and called it Peacock Eye and suggested that it was a Pittsburgh design. Either or both could have been the inspiration for the Ray pattern made by McKee.
