EMMAS (OMN) by Bryce, Higbee & Company/Pittsburgh-PA (Company Operated: 1879-1907), mid 1880s Introduced

• AKA: Boy ABC Plate
NOTE: Moulds were acquired by the J. B. Higbee Glass Co. who added their trademark and continued production as the No. 531 Boy ABC Plate. The moulds then were purchased by the New Martinsville Glass Co. c1918 where the pattern number and name were maintained. Ref: The Homestead Glass Works of Bryce, Higbee & Co. 1879-1907, Paul Kirk Jr. p. 256
NOTE: Paul Kirk Jr. - Bryce, Higbee's moulds and assets were sold in May 1908, so JBH could not have made it prior to that. I feel JBH didn't make this plate until after 1910, however. Still researching.
NOTE: Plates marked Clay's Crystal Works are later reproductions. 8 diameter.
