BANDED PALING (AKA) by Gillinder & Sons Incorporated/Philadelphia,Greensburg-PA(Operated: 1863-Today), 1879
NOTE: Ref: A Third Two-Hundred Pattern Glass Pitchers by Minnie Watson Kamm, pg. 24. Ref: American and Canadian Goblets, Vol. 1, by Unitts, pg.108
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: A couple of (aka) Banded Paling goblets appear in the c1885 Gillinder catalog. The goblets would be considered documented and they allow us to assign the table pieces in this pattern (e.g. the creamer posted above) to Gillinder (attribution). The goblets are No. 53 and No. 54 but those numbers are unlikely to be related to the number Gillinder gave to the tableware line.
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2024: the goblets appear in the 1879 price list but not in the list from the year before. there are two versions of this pattern: one with paneled (prism) stem and one with plain round stem
