NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: The 1891 Ripley catalog page references patents from 1881 and 1882 so I suspect this basket was introduced in the early 1880s but was still in stock years later. The patents were issued to a gentleman by the name of Timberlake for handles not the glass design. Apparently Ripley was licenced to use his patents.
