SIMPLICITY (AKA) unk by Unknown Glass Company No. 10/Unknown Location (Company Operated: Unknown), estimate 1880-1890

NOTE: Sid Lethbridge - This pattern has been named (aka) Simplicity by Adams & Mordock (ref. Pattern Glass Mugs p 103).
NOTE: Brad Gougeon: This pattern is also known in S&P shakers, goblet, celery, compote and a couple of other pieces. I have several pieces in purple slag. It can also be found in dark amethyst and colorless clear. It is one of a half a dozen (high probability US) patterns made in purple slag that we have no idea who made them.
NOTE: AKA: Barred Fishscale, AKA: Basketweave and Fan, AKA: Japanese Band, AKA: Sedan and AKA: Simplicity are thought to have been made by the same (as yet unidentified) company. All these patterns are found in a "purple slag/mosaic" color formula.
