LORD'S SUPPER PLATE (OMN) Indiana Version(s) by Indiana Glass Company (Dunkirk-IN, Company Operated: 1904-2002), c1910 Introduced
NOTE: Albany Glass Museum-Ryan Gill 2020:original Lord's Supper Plate.. made in Findlay, Ohio, Model Flint & has an open border between the leaves and grapes. very rare with only 1 or 2 known. Likely due to production problems they recut the mould to have a closed border, but the grape cluster above Jesus head still facing towards the right. When the Albany factory closed in 1902, the moulds were moved to Indiana Glass in Dunkirk, Indiana... reproduced in Dunkirk for many years. [This]is the earliest reproduction done in Dunkirk. The...difference between..this and the plate produced in Albany is the grape cluster pointing to the left. All Dunkirk repros: grape cluster points left or straight down in the very later reproductions."
