NOTE: (Could it be Bryce Bros.?) Sid Lethbridge - We don't know although it is possible, maybe even likely. But if Tappan owned the moulds he could have had them made by any number of companies. Given the problem with reversed lettering seen on both styles of boot/shoe it was probably the same mould maker for both. If one with the heel plate appears in amethyst, then that would strongly suggest Bryce Bros.
