NOTE: Brad Gougeon 2024 - On July 21, 1874 William Kirchner received a patent for "Pickle Dishes" that he promptly assigned to Atterbury & Co. The patent claim was actually about a molded handle over a dish. Atterbury used that patent to its fullest extent and all of these pieces shown here have that patent date on the bottom. The basket ... can be found with and without metal tops.
