NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: Nova Scotia Glass commenced operations in1881. In 1890, they were acquired by Diamond Glass Co. of Montreal who operated the works for a few more years when operations ceased in 1892. So, the company existed from 1881 to 1890 and the factory operated from 1881 to 1892.
