WESTMORELAND SPECIALTY CO. No. .15 (OMN) line by Westmoreland Specialty Company (Grapeville-PA, Co. Operated: 1889-1924), c1892 Introduced
• AKA: Bamboo Column
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2020 - These three pages of No. 15 aka Bamboo Column are from a Westmoreland catalogue dated 1902. This pattern is often confused with Bryce, Higbee's Ethol pattern but the cuts or notches are patterned on Ethol and plain on Westmoreland's No. 15 line. The sole exception to that rule is the No. 15 cruets which have the patterned notches. It has to be noted that no Ethol cruets appear in the thirteen known Bryce Higbee catalogue pages of the pattern. The shapes of the two patterns differ as well.
