ZZ UNIDENTIFIED No. 569 [ flowered covered jar ] by UNIDENTIFIED MAKER, Unknown Date
NOTES: Gary Schneider 2020: "The dimensions likely about 3" to top of glass under the metal rim and maybe close to 4 inches (+/-) point to point on the corner of the flats at the top. These are typical measurements of Fostoria puff jars of the time, which this could be, and the metal lid with the small hole simply turns it into a mustard. In an early factory mould book there is a 739 puff listed with no feet and is pressed (as is the 737 stick) the puff is not listed as intaglio like the stick is listed (not sure if that eliminates the 739 as your piece) obviously, the mould numbers are very close. The candlestick is the only item known as 737 there is no Line 737 with additional pieces in it."
