IBEX ETCHING (AKA) by Unknown Glass Company for Etchings No. 1 (Unknown Location, Operated: Unknown), c1880s Introduced
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge - The Ibex Etching was originally named Doe and Buck by Mordock (K1) but clearly this was in error as these are members of the goat family not deer. The new name was proposed by Frank Consentino to reflect the species more appropriately. For the purposes of my research the firm that did this etching has designated as U1 i.e. Unknown 1. They were very prolific and there are about 30 etchings that can be assigned to them.
