NOTE: Liz Roach 2021: ref Hallock's Central Glass Company p201 "" It has a flat front with a double pen holder and flat panels on the corners and around the back and sides. It has thick glass and is very heavy. There are two round areas for ink (which would have had a metal or composition cover), a round area for a sponge (which would have had an open glass insert) and a small opening for pen nibs (which would have had a metal or other top). It is 6 inches long and 5 inches wide from pen holder to the center point in the back."
