UNITED STATES GLASS CO. No. 15031 SUPERIOR (OMN) by United States Glass Company (Pittsburgh-PA, Company Operated: 1891-1962) , 1896 Introduced
• AKA: Diamond Point and Punty; Diamond Point Band
NOTE: Robert Wilkin - The Diamond Point & Punty name is accredited to Peterson. Source: The World of Salt Shakers by Lechner, pg. 222 and it also appears in The Encyclopedia of Pattern Glass by McCain, pgs. 94-95. Both of the above sources reference Arthur G. Peterson's work.
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2021 - I think that aka Diamond Point and Punty is part of the US Glass No. 15031 Superior line. It looks like US Glass either modified the stemware early on to add the "pineapple" design to the stem because examples with the plain stem shown in the catalogues are scarce as hen's teeth.
