CENTRAL GLASS CO. No. 480 (OMN) by Central Glass Company (Wheeling-WV, Company Operated: 1867-1891), c1877 Introduced
• AKA: Shell
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2019 - The No. 480 pattern came out at the same time as No. 439 and has several common features. A trade quote described it as having vine leaves. Then there is the 1877-78 Lovell catalogue with contemporary written notes identifying the maker and OMN. This came from a page in that catalogue noted as being all Central. It is notated No. 480 and fits the description. Every other piece on that page is correctly designated in a similar manner.
