CENTRAL GLASS CO. No. 707 COVERED EGG DISH (OMN) by Central Glass Company (Wheeling-WV, Company Operated: 1867-1891), c.1883
NOTE: Lianne McNeil: [This] lid is identical to the known Central hen lids, and Central tended to frost their hens and animal covered dishes. [On most of the hens I've seen]the basketweave braid at the top of the base sticks out distinctly from the rest of the basket (it stands out maybe 1/8" from the rest of the basket.) I assume that this one does, too. Collectors call this version the "Linebacker" hen.

NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2019: Central did make opal hens before joining US Glass as this 1891 price list shows. To get turquoise, all that is needed is a few ounces of copper in the batch so it is quite possible that Central made those as well.
