NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2022 - This design was registered by the Rochester Tumbler Co. of Pittsburgh, PA on February 13, 1880 which suggests that they were exporting their products to Britain and wanted to protect themselves from the competition. The registration gives us an approximate date for its introduction.
