CHARLESTON SWIRL (AKA) by Unknown Maker (Unknown Location, Operated: Unknown), mid 1880s Introduced
• AKA: Charleston Swirl (Millard 1, Plate 160)
NOTE: Ref: Metz 1, pg 200-201
NOTE: We can comfortably assign the Charleston goblet to the Riverside Glass Works of Wellsburg, WV based on the use of their No. 3 goblet as the blank. The No. 3 goblet was modified by using a patterned plunger to impart the optic design on the interior of the bowl.
