Tygart Valley Glass Co./Grafton-WV/Washington-PA (Company Operated: 1908-1947) -

Notes: This company was the direct successor to the Beaumont Glass Co. which was renamed Tygart Valley Glass Co. after Percy Beaumont left in 1906. When the Riverside Glass Co. of Wellsburg, WV got sucked into bankruptcy by the death throes of the National Glass Co. in 1907, Tygart Valley acquired a number of the newer lines made by Riverside. Around 1910, Tygart Valley decided to shift their focus from tableware to packers' ware. They divested themselves of the tableware moulds to McKee, LE Smith, & others.
