NATIONAL GLASS CO. No. 2 SMALL SALT (OMN)
• AKA:
• MAKER:
National Glass Co. 18 [Royal Works] Marietta-Ohio (Operated: 1899-1903), Introduced: mid-1880's introduced
• NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2025 - The original maker of this salt is a puzzle. Motif wise, it is a good match for Aetna No. 300 but it appears in the c1901 National Glass Co. export catalogue (cut below) as being made by their Royal Works. To add to the puzzle, it is found in colours that suggest an introduction in the mid-1880s. The trail to Royal leads from Brilliant to Greensburg to Huntington to Royal with connections to Robinson (through National) and New Brighton (through Huntington).
• MOTIFS: Diamonds, Squares/Rectangles, None
