HEISEY, A. H. & CO. No. .341 ½ PURITAN (OMN)
• AKA:
Heisey, A. H. and Company (Newark-OH, Company Operated: 1896-1957), Introduced: 1903 Introduced
• NOTE: Martha McGill: 341½ Puritan, made in many sizes, from one pint up. This was a very popular pitcher and was made for many years, from Heisey's early years (the pattern was introduced in 1903) until the company closed in 1957. From 1937 on, the pattern was known as Old Williamsburg. After Heisey went out of business, Imperial reissued the pitcher in Crystal and several colors. Although made in the Heisey mold, the Imperial pitchers are shaped differently and are wider around the neck and top opening than those made by Heisey.
