DAISY AND FERN on OPTIC MOLD (AKA)
Northwood The Company (Indiana-PA, Operated: 1896-1899), Introduced: c1898
• CORRECTION: Heacock's book III, page 22, photo 91 has listed this pattern Daisy and Fern on a West Virginia Optic Mold.
NOTE: See the Catalog Cut for West Virginia No. 203
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: Heacock based his assignment of D&F to WV based solely on its appearance on what he thought was WV's Optic mould. Here is a catalog cut of the WV No. 203 Optic syrup and sugar shaker. It does not look like a good match proportion-wise for the syrup above which raises doubts whether the mould for the WV syrup could or would be reworked to get the shape of the Daisy & Fern syrup.
