DORIC (OMN)
• AKA: Feather
McKee & Brothers (Pittsburgh-PA/Jeannette-PA, Company Operated: 1853-1899), Introduced: 1896 Introduced
• NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: Doric is the OMN for the pattern ,,,McKee introduced ,,, in 1896. They made a very large line. No. 669 is the Cambridge designation for the cordial, wine and goblet listed in their 1903 catalog. These were the only pieces sold by Cambridge. We don't know if they got McKee moulds or had new moulds made or whether they were just selling old stock. In conclusion, the No. 669 designation properly applies to just these three items and not the entire Doric pattern.
NOTE: Beatty/Brady No. 101 is a look alike pattern to McKee Brothers
Doric.
• Motifs: (Beads ), (Fine Cut), (Swirls/Spirals)
