LOUIS XV (OMN)
• AKA:
Northwood The Company (Indiana-PA, Company Operated: 1896-1899), Introduced: 1898 Introduced
• NOTE: James Measell 2023: we need to keep Northwood @ Indiana separate from Northwood @Wheeling, and Louis XV is exclusive to Indiana. At Indiana, Northwood cruets typically had a faceted stopper that is ball-shaped rather than pointed, and these can be seen in the Ivory glass cruets in several patterns. However, there is a faceted, pointed stopper associated with the line aka Opal Venetian (see the catalog cut on p. 135 of Northwood/Early Years and, in the database, image 22 of Opal Venetian/Opal Landscape that shows the cruet in Brad's collection.
