• NOTE: Ed Perva - In 1902 Heisey advertised its Chrysanthemum vases in several sizes. They described them as: No two alike. "The name Plaid was given because the horizontal and vertical ridges give the vases a plaid-like appearance." 3 different sizes of bases with a total of over 20 different heights. This information is in Volume 1 of the 5 updated books by the Bredehofts.
