• NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: "I would suggest an aka of Northwood Unknown 1 by by Northwood Glass Co. (1888-1896), c. 1890. There was a line of crystal jugs, engraved and cut, introduced that year as well as several mentions of etched wares in trade journals."
NOTE: James Measell: "They[ Northwood] produced crystal to use for etching, but it must have proved less popular than colored glass. The crimp style is distinctive for Northwood."
