NATIONAL GLASS CO. No. ...2 (OMN) nat/royal
• AKA:
National Glass Company (Royal Works) (Marietta-OH, Co. Operated: 1899-1903), Introduced: c1902 Introduced
• NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2020 - This goblet appears in the c1902 National Glass Co. Export catalogue as 18/2 goblet where 18 is the factory designation which in this case is the Royal Works in Marietta, OH and 2 is the OMNumber. The question becomes where did it originate because the Royal Glass Co. inherited moulds from Brilliant, Greensburg (first company), and Huntington before joining the National. And the National moved moulds from various factories around frequently. Until we get some more evidence the pattern name would be National (Royal Works) No. 2.
