• NOTE:the clear glass dome in lower center of lamps and missing on some photos, held a cork with paper label saying "Fruit Bowl Patented Nov 15 1881 July 25 1882"-- original purpose of this piece not known but was made with a chimney and shade. ref Thuro Oil Lamps vol 3 p89
