• NOTE: Brad Gougeon 2021: The design is similar [to Atterbury's] but not the same. I don't know if that can be attributed to the mold, work done on the piece after it came out of the mold or.....? The pieces we can attribute to Atterbury are like Ron's, with a very distinct squared off base on the "H". John's plate, in the same spot is elliptical or "stretched". John's peg ending, below the crossbar of the H is also longer than what I can recall seeing on the Atterbury pieces. Atterbury? Maybe. Another maker? Maybe.
