• NOTE: Sid Lethbridge 2024 - The design patent for this inkstand was issued to George E Hatch of East Cambridge, MA on December 27, 1875. It has been assumed that he was working for the New England Glass Co. at that time because he had assigned a design patent that that firm earlier that same year. A few years later, Hatch was in Meriden, CT and assigned several patents to the Meriden Flint Glass Co.
