Fruits/Grains/Nuts/Vegetables;
DECORATED FRUIT AND VEGETABLES (AKA)
• AKA: Pepper; Tomato
Unknown Maker (Unknown Location, Operated: Unknown), Introduced: c1906 Introduced
• NOTE: Brad Gougeon: Glass, China, and Lamps -date-has a trade quote for the Hocking Glass Co. "The new vegetable sets in representations of melons, squash, corn, asparagus, etc. are some of the latest novelties this company has sent to the New England market........" A later (that year) trade quote talks about tomatoes, melons, and pineapples. We know that Hocking made this type of design but we cannot connect the dots between Hocking and the Butler Bros assortment.

NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: The earliest appearance of this fruit/vegetable ware in Butler Bros. that I can find was April 1906.
