• NOTE: Larry Wilson: "Pomona" is the name of the product line, several different patterns were made: Corn Flower, Blue Berry, Butterfly, even undecorated plain and are still Pomona. Pomona is the acid etching technique not the pattern. First Grind was patented in 1885 by Joseph Locke but due to the high cost of production, Second Grind was developed less than a year later. Anything other than pieces made by New England Glass Co are NOT Pomona.
